Seremoni 🐟

Brand identity for Seremoni, a New York-based company harvesting fish in a more humane, sustainable, and delicious way. Seremoni innovated on the traditional ike-jime method to bring delicious and ethically farmed fish to scale.

The rhythm of ike-jime.

While researching ike-jime I discovered a parallel between the four syllables of the name and the four steps of the process, in the logotype each step is represented by a character, and together they form a universal symbol that stands for Seremoni’s promise of better fish for all. And lastly, the typographical patterns reference the seemingly random yet highly precise swimming patterns of schools of fish.
