Seremoni is a New York-based company that harvests fish in a humane, sustainable, and delicious way. Seremoni innovated on the traditional Japanese ike-jime method to bring delicious and ethically farmed fish to scale.

As I was researching ike-jime I discovered the parallel between the four syllables of the name and the four steps of this process. The logotype represents each of the steps using a typographic character and together they create a graphic that's a universal symbol of a fish. Lastly, the typographical patterns reference the seemingly random yet strategic swimming patterns of schools of fish.
